The town park at the Main Square is decorated by a few rare tree species like Ginkgo tree and there are a lot of shrub types, such as yew, mahogany tree, Japanese quince tree, rosewood and golden tree.

It was opened in 1866, not far away from the town center, on the territory of Tisa’s old flood basin, more precisely on its first, lower terrace.
